GreenGrid® offers decorative edge treatments for projects where modules are cut to fit the layout. These treatments help retain growing media and vegetation on exposed module edges while providing a clean, finished appearance. Options include 0.040 painted aluminum (91% recycled content) and 24-gauge painted steel (28–35% recycled content), both available in a variety of color templates. A flexible HDPE edge treatment is also available for added versatility.
Ipé and itauba wood tile pavers, available in a standard 2 ft x 2 ft size, offer a durable, low-maintenance solution for rooftop decks and plazas. Made from two of the most stable hardwoods, they naturally resist rot, wear, splintering, termites, fire, and chemicals—ideal for long-term outdoor use. Ipé is commonly used in boardwalks and furniture, while itauba offers similar performance at a lower cost. Both develop an attractive, weathered look if left unsealed. GreenGrid® features wood pavers by Timber Holdings USA, known for high-performance wood products like those used on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Compatible adjustable and fixed-height pedestals, including options with specialized heads, are available.
Pressed concrete pavers are a durable, low-maintenance choice for integrating plazas, decks, or walkways into your GreenGrid® green roof. Available in standard 2 ft x 2 ft x 2 in (nominal) and custom sizes, they come in a range of colors, textures, and grades—from utility to premium architectural finishes. GreenGrid® features pavers by Sunny Brook Pressed Concrete, with matching fixed and adjustable pedestal options. Custom orders can ship in as little as three weeks.
Recycled rubber pavers offer a softer, more resilient surface option for your GreenGrid® green roof—ideal for schools, play areas, or spaces where safety is a top priority. These pavers come in a standard 2 ft x 2 ft size and are available in depths ranging from 1.75 in to 4 in to meet various design needs. Offered in interlocking and non-interlocking formats, they are available in both standard and vivid color options for a bold, functional finish.
Fused bamboo offers a durable and visually striking alternative to traditional hardwood pavers—ideal when a tile aesthetic doesn’t align with your design goals. This thermo-treated bamboo product provides greater stability than hardwood and features tongue-and-groove planking with no-gap connections for easy installation. It can be installed over joists or on an aluminum subframe compatible with adjustable pedestals. The same material is also available in a modular tile format. GreenGrid® features fused bamboo decking by MOSO, a global leader in bamboo technology, and bamboo deck tiles by Bison, a trusted name in premium rooftop hardscape systems.
