Quick installation is one of the biggest advantages
of choosing a GreenGrid® green
roof. All modules are preplanted, which means
your plants are already grown—no waiting
to see what they’ll look like. Preplanting
also eliminates the safety issues associated
with having heavy-duty planting and landscaping
work done on your roof.
With the GreenGrid® system,
the plants that you choose are placed in the
modules at the nursery and cared for until they
are shipped to the roof site for installation.
Preset “palettes” of plants, developed
by staff horticulturists, are also available
to allow clients to select plant varieties according
to plant hardiness zone. We are happy to work
with landscape architects/designers as well.
