offer integral stormwater retention due to
the patented design of the modules. Built-in-place
systems must add water retention layers, adding
material and labor costs. The GreenGrid® system
can retain up to 99% of a 1-inch rainfall.
By slowly percolating through the growing media,
roof runoff occurs several hours after peak flows. Building runoff potential
is reduced, decreasing the demand on stormwater systems.
The GreenGrid® system can reduce
or even eliminate the need for on-site stormwater management systems.
